There is one Atlanta Brave that should win the NL MVP, and isn’t Ronald Acuna, or Freddie Freeman. It’s Designated Hitter Marcell Ozuna.
Ozuna finished the year with a stat line of .338, 18 HR, 56 RBI, and 1.061 OPS.
He led the National League in HR’s, RBI’s, and Total bases. He finished 2nd in the National League in hits, and 3rd in Batting Average, and OPS while playing on a 1st place team.
To close out the year in September he hit .390 with 9 HR’s, 32 RBI’s, 18 Runs, 40 hits , and a 1.217 OPS.
Today in his last game of the regular season Ozuna finished 2-4, and hit a towering 468 foot Home Run.
ATN’s futures, and premiere MLB specialist, JD Sharp, has two wagers on Ozuna to win the NL MVP at odds of 200-1.
